No rainy day blues here!! So glad these guys decided to grin and bear it for this soggy shoot! Don’t get me wrong, sun and warmth are always welcome when it comes to family photos but there was just something so perfect about this evening. The boys were truly in their element splashing in puddles and getting dirty and mom and dad’s smiles were so genuine watching their boys be boys 🙂 Seriously thank you guys for being such awesome clients! I truly look forward to shooting you and your sweet family every year. Your love for each other shines thru in every image!

At this time of year, 99% of my shoots are outside in a picturesque park or maybe a funky urban area. But the Fischers had something different in mind this year and I’m so glad they did. Lisa wanted to shoot inside their (beautiful/light/open concept/spotless) home and I was like, YES! It was such a fun afternoon full of dance parties, bed jumping, cookies, climbing on furniture, candy and smiles. After all that and last year’s ice cream shoot, photoshoots have to be growing on the Fischer kids 😉
Thank you guys for taking me out of my “comfort zone” and bringing me into your home!
I cherish the day that this lady stepped into my hole in the wall apartment 15 some years ago, and I’m sure Will now feels the same way (Errr… minus the nasty apartment 😛 ) For real tho, it’s been a a decade and a half and Mel, I’m not lettin’ ya go! Anywho… Mel came to me with this idea to shoot Will and his sons as a Father’s Day gift andddddd that’s just how Mel is. So generous and thoughtful- We’re all lucky to have you in our lives Mel! 🙂 This shoot was wonderful AND easy as pie. I got to hang with an old friend, a new friend and two handsome and super well behaved little boys. WINNING. Thanks guys for gettin’ all fancy for me and showing me around your very cool new hood. Love ya!
Enjoy the cuteness…..
Have I mentioned before how much fun it is to shoot friends? Well, it is. Especially when said friends bring along their adorable and amazingly cooperative baby! Seriously you guys, it is not normal for babies to be so on point for picture taking 😛 Baby B was as sweet as pie for the entire duration of a SUNSET shoot. Unlike the rest of us, he was even unfazed by the swarm of mosquitos feasting on us all night. Aside from those pesky parasites, it was a a great time getting to see your whole fam and all of those cute pups!
Love love love being the Allemand family’s go to First Communion photographer 😁 It makes me so happy to capture the memories so that this sweet family can focus on each other on such a special day. This is the last Communion in the Allemand house but here’s hoping it’s not the last time I get to shoot these beautiful girls!
Congratulations Lea!!! ✞
