The Shillings

After years of shooting, every now and then I still stumble upon  a “first.” So… this is the first time I’ve shot AND it has rained for the majority of the shoot 😮 Buuuut… you’ll see that a little lot of rain couldn’t dampen 😛 the Shilling family mood! These kids are adorable, awesome, full of energy AND have some serious dance moves. No joke, we were confined to a smallish covered area for almost the whole shoot but the smiles and laughs just kept coming. Having said that, maybe next time we actually take the forecast seriously, am I right or am I right!?

Thanks guys for being OK with getting wet and messy. In my opinion, it was totally worth it! 😛

The McGuires

Love seeing these familiar faces on the blog today. Loved seeing them in person even more! Every year we shoot, we have to overcome some sort of obstacle. The first couple of years it was extremely frigid and windy Fall temperatures. This year, it was warm and beautiful, BUT the mosquitos were on the hunt!! They were really out for blood 😛 But after a quick deet run, all was manageable and it turned out to be a great evening of shooting. These two littles are full of energy which makes for lots of laughs AND super natural, fun photos 🙂  Hopefully you guys agree!!!

Thanks for a great night McGuires! It’s always an adventure, right!?!

The Ryans

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… I LOVE shooting families year after year. It’s so fun to see how the kids grow and change and get used to me being in their faces 😛 This was my third time shooting the lovely Ryan family and I was so excited when they reached out. The last couple of times we kept the kids comfortable and shot at home, but this time we finally ventured out! I think you guys will agree it was well worth it 🙂  We went to one of my all time favorite parks to shoot and everything about it was perfect! Beautiful location, sweet smiling faces, amazing light, loving family… I could go on and on.

Thanks guys for always coming back for more adventures! It’s been my pleasure!

The Spinazzes

Name sounds familiar, huh? Yep, I met all of these wonderful people back when I was inducted into the Spinazze clan but this is the first time I’ve had the pleasure of shooting them. It’s always fun working with people I know, especially family. I’m so glad we rescheduled the scorcher and got to hang out on this beautiful day!! AND this shoot was a nice little break from chasing toddlers around 😛

I hope this day and these pictures will be a pleasant memory for you guys and not a torturous one (Dominic 😮 ) Hope to see you guys soon!

The Arnolds

We may not have been able to wrangle any big smiles but we certainly didn’t have any tears, so, winning! 😛  We’ve been trying to get Tenley’s second shoot in for months and months, but in the end I’m glad it worked out that we could shoot outside on a beautiful summer day (slightly past Miss T’s bedtime 😮 ) Like I said, she wasn’t feeling very giggly but she sure wasn’t sad, crabby or anything of the sort. Adorable baby Tenley was just chillin’, soaking it all in and wondering what in the world we were all up to being all up in her business for an hour 😛

Thanks guys for staying up late for me, I think you’ll agree the BEAUTIFUL light was worth it!!! 🙂
