We’d been trying to make this shoot happen since September, but life happened….One chilly November day it finally came together and Quinn was a trooper!!
For the record, one can never have too many adorable nieces to take pictures of ๐
I photographed the Morkes family for the first time way back when Brady was only six months old. It’s hard to believe how much has changed since then. They’ve grown into this beautiful family of four, full of giggles and smiles. The biggest hitch in this whole shoot was finding a day to do it! Our first scheduled date was a torrential downpour. Our reschedule date was unseasonably cold, but… third time’s a charm!! We finally ended up with the sun shining on a “warm enough” day and everything came together. Cara was really hoping to get the horses at the farm in some of the pictures and to say they cooperated would be an understatement. I mean, come on, cooperative kids and animals!?! Winning!! ๐
Well guys, I’m so glad we held off on the earlier days and were able to spend so much time running around the farm! SO worth it!!
I have the most beautiful friends!! For real, while editing these photos I kept thinking to myself, it’s as if I hired them! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I LOVE shooting friends. The littles take zero time to warm up AND I can show up in sweatpants and expect no judgment ๐
So so glad we were able to fit this in this year Balyeats!! I love spending time with you guys, with and without a camera ๐
Yay the Winklers are back! To say that I look forward to shooting this family year after year would be an understatement. I love being able to look back at 2016 and 2015 and see how everyone has changed and grown. This was our first year shooting in less than perfect weather but aside from a few shivers, the cold was no match for the Winklers family spirit! Nor was it a match for SMALLS! Smalls, the rescued cocker spaniel pup is my new favorite Winkler! Sorry guys! ๐ It was so much fun adding him to the mix and seeing how each one of these sweet kids can’t get enough of him. Such a loved and lucky little guy. Ya know, just when I thought hanging out with this family couldn’t get any better…
Winklers it was a pleasure as always!!! See you in 2018!!!! ๐
