The Piotrowskis

Mike you really have a house full of beautiful ladies over there!!! But I think you already knew that… I’ve known Sharon and Mike for quite some time know. I was super excited when they asked me to shoot some pics of sweet little Addy when she was just a babe and doubly excited to get to come back for more to shoot their beautiful new addition Mia. But the real memorable moment(s) of the day was when I got put in timeout over and over again every time I climbed onto another piece of furniture to take a pic. Addy would wave her little finger at me and say, “no no Liza, timeout!” My apologies Sharon and Mike, you probably spent the rest of the day reinstilling that it is actually not OK to climb on the furniture! lol…

It’s been a pleasure editing these photos of your sweet girls! Thanks for a great morning, and I hope Mia took a nice long nap for ya after I left!

What do you do with your family photos??

You schedule a session, we get together and snap some pics. I edit edit edit and then you receive your images. What do you do with them? Well here’s an idea… One of my clients and dearest friends sent me these photos not long after I delivered her images. How amazingly perfect are these canvases!?!?

I’ll leave you with that little inspiration 🙂

Thanks friend, for sharing your beautiful wall art of your beautiful family

The Wiggins Family

So glad that a mutual friend sent the Wiggins family my way. Tate reached out a few months ago, smack in the middle of the Fall Family Photo Frenzy. She said she dropped the ball on newborn photos but was hoping to get some shots of her sweet baby girl Sadie, while she was still relativity teeny 😉 Come early December I was finally able to squeeze them in. Although super tired, Sadie was so stinkin’ cute. By the time I got to her she wasn’t a tiny, squish faced, bumpy little newborn anymore. At 3.5 months Sadie was perfectly plump and beautiful with some of the smoothest, milkiest baby skin I’ve ever seen. She has made my editing work way too easy… And to see how loving and natural John and Tate are as first time parents was such a treat. I’m not sure what it was like around there back in those first few weeks but you guys are like seasoned pros now…

Thank you, thank you for letting me spend the morning with your beautiful growing family. It was truly a pleasure. My apologies to Sadie for so rudely shooting right through nap time 😉So much love

Tate Wiggins - Liza, thank you so much for capturing Sadie so beautifully!! I am thrilled with the pictures. It was such a pleasure working with you and you made it all so painless! (Cameras and I have a mutual dislike for one another. HA!) You are amazing!!! I truly cannot thank you enough!

The Tallismans

Have I ever mentioned that I LOVE shooting the Tallismans? Well, I do 🙂 We first met at Botanic Gardens for a chilly but adorably perfect ‘Ava turns one‘ shoot. Next I was lucky enough to be welcomed into their beautiful new home when Max was born. Max’s birth last December made Candace and Dustin members of the two under two club, and this is part of why I love hanging with the Talismans.. Having multiple young children can be tough, and photo shoots are often stressful on parents… But not the Tallismans! Everytime I’m around they are super chill, totally go with the flow and I love it. There’s no stressing to get the perfect posed shot, it’s all just fun and letting the kids be kids and snapping away thru all the adorable chaos. It. is. awesome.

Thanks again guys for a fun, crazy, perfectly perfect Fall morning! lol. They’re like the same size!?

The Living Doll and Family ;)

No, that is not a child model I hired to beautify my portfolio.. that’s my niece 😉  I know I’m biased and all but sheesh… My sister and I get a real kick out of what a bunch of bumps she makes the rest of us look like! ha!  Seriously though, I always look forward to taking these snaps for their annual Christmas card. I LOVE taking them and I love editing them all the while sending screenshots to my sister of all the horrible outtakes 😉  And I can never wait to see which ones make the cut on the highly anticipated Shepherd Christmas card.

The sole purpose of this little get together began as getting the pics in. Then it turned out to be such a beautiful day that we decided to make it a family afternoon at Botanic Gardens. And since I had my camera and we were all together I had to snap a few cousin shots (seeing as how last time we attempted that my other niece literally screamed the entire time :P).  Although we went through a little rough patch a few months ago when all the ‘older’ cousins would constantly bicker when together, I am pleased to say that is seemingly behind us. We all just went to Disney together and they all could not have gotten along better. Not to get all sappy but seeing them all together, enjoying each other, laughing, being goofy and asking about each other the minute they’re separated is.. well, I don’t even have words. They love each other like siblings and that’s more than I ever could have asked for. I have so much love for these five little people…
